Minimum Qualifications:
BS Mechanical Engineering:
3-15 years design experience putting a mechanical product into volume production Experience with machining and manufacturing processes Knowledge of and experience with different metals and alloys Experience, education and/or strong interest in solar energy Candidate must be located near San Rafael, CA.
Duties:
Engineer solar mounting system hardware and accessories Design and simulate stress/strain using FEA Implement research, development and testing projects Develop prototypes and coordinate with machine shop Develop drawings, specifications, quality assurance Assist with planning of schedules, staffing, costs Source materials, methods, tooling, and manufacturers Coordinate with vendors.
